How can I import a Telos account?
By default, all new Wombat users are required to create a Telos account. You can import a Telos account on that stage already — simply tap or click on the import option and enter your private key. Alternatively, if you only have an EOS account, go to your Wallet, tap or click on TLOS and initiate a transaction. Wombat will automatically take you to the account creation screen. Choose to import an account instead and enter your private key.
How can I import an EOS account?
There are several ways of importing an EOS account to Wombat. One would be launching any EOS-based dApp or game, like Chain Clash. Another way is to go to your Wallet, tap or click on EOS and initiate a transaction. In both cases, Wombat will automatically take you to the account creation screen. Choose to import an account instead and enter your private key. If you already have an EOS account created via Wombat, you will need to log out and log back in with the same Gmail, Twitter, Facebook or Apple ID account you used for creating that account. Be advised that it is not possible to merge different Wombat accounts with different login credentials.
How can I create a Telos account?
By default, all new Wombat users are required to create a Telos account. If you’ve used Wombat for quite a while, you may have to create a Telos account manually. To do that, go to your Wallet, tap or click on TLOS and initiate a transaction. Wombat will automatically take you to the account creation screen. You will need to pick an account name of 12 characters. It can only include Latin letters and numbers from 1 to 5.

How can I get my private key?
Wombat is designed in such a way that you would never need your private key to use it. However, if you prefer to have access to them, you can unlock these for a small one-time fee. Go to Settings, Keys & Accounts and tap on the Private key to unlock it. If it’s not unlocked automatically, please let us know via email or drop a message in our Telegram chat. In the case you want to buy the Private key with crypto, you can send 0.5 EOS to the EOS account “wombatincome“. Make sure to include the EOS account name you want to unlock the private key for in the “memo” field of your payment transaction.
Where can I see my account name or wallet ID?
If you’re looking to find your EOS or Telos account name (some users also call it ID), first, make sure you’re using the latest Wombat version. To look up your account names, as well as public and private keys, go to Settings and then, to Keys & Accounts.

I forgot my passphrase or PIN. What can I do?
If you no longer have access to your passphrase/PIN, simply re-install Wombat. Next, log in using the same social account you signed up with. Wombat will then securely recover your account and you will be asked to set a new passphrase/PIN in the process.

How can I change my account name or address?
Being your designation on the blockchain, your account name and address are immutable. That means that you cannot change them. If you are unhappy with your existing account name or address, you can still create a new one by signing up with another social account. Note that, since this will be an entirely new account, your funds and any progress in dApps and games will be lost.
Can I update my account to single-sig?
Striving to provide the best user experience on Wombat, we deployed a single-sig feature. You can upgrade from a multi-sig EOS account to single-sig by simply signing an “updateauth” action with Wombat.
What is 2FA?
2FA or ‘two-factor authentication’ is a complimentary security measure that verifies account ownership in other ways than passwords. It includes security questions, single-use codes sent to your mobile device, fingerprint scans and many other verification methods. In Wombat, 2FA is enabled through authenticator apps, such as Google Authenticator and Authy and is currently available in the mobile app for Android and iOS. If you’d like to set up 2FA on your device, please read our Help Center article first.
How can I set up 2FA in Wombat?
If you’d like to set up two-factor authentication in your Wombat app, please follow these steps: Download an authenticator app. We recommend using Google Authenticator or Authy. Log into the authenticator app. After that, go to your home screen. Open Wombat and go to Settings. You should see a line that says ‘Setup 2FA’/’Set 2FA up’ — tap on it. If you don’t see it in the menu, please update your Wombat app. Below the QR code and a code string, you will see the option to open the authenticator. Tap on it. Agree to save the key. Memorize the 6-digit code you see next to your Wombat key there. Go back to Wombat’s 2FA screen and tap on the ‘Proceed’ button. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app. And you’re all set! Once 2FA is activated, you can also remove it in the Settings, although we do not recommend doing that. If at any point you lose access to the authenticator app itself, please submit a request for reset. You can do it from the authentication screen by tapping on the bright blue hyperlink or sending us an email at support@getwombat.io
